We’re working feverishly through another week without NC Wanted. For the second week in a row, our show will be preempted by NASCAR. It comes with the territory in this business.

When we do come back, we’ll explore the controversial James Johnson case and the murder of Brittany Willis. Willis was found dead near a Wilson shopping center in 2004. Johnson was once charged with the crime, but murder charges were dropped after the killer wrote a letter saying he acted alone.

Johnson now faces charges as an accessory after the fact. We will look at allegations of racism and prosecutorial misconduct in this case, which became national news.
