Sex Offender Teacher Brings More Trouble To Brunswick County

Robert and Kathy Frye have filed a law suit against the Brunswick County School Board, accusing school officials of not taking proper action against David Arrowood, even though it was known he had "inappropriate behavior" with their daughter.

No specific information has been released by the school system, but school superintendent Dr. Katie McGee said in a statement, "Mr. Arrowood was suspended by school officials from his professional duties on April 12, 2006 and ordered not to be on any school property thereafter. The Board of Education took official action on June 20, 2006, and dismissed David Arrowood."

It is known that Arrowood plead guilty to sex charges last year.

The Frye family is using the same lawyers used by the parents of Windy Hagar. Hagar is the 16 year old girl that married her South Brunswick High School teacher and track coach, Brenton Wuchae.

The North Carolina School Board's trust will provide defense for the school district in the law suit. No court date has been set.
