RALEIGH
Police say they now have a suspect in connection with Friday's beating death of an elderly woman in her downtown Raleigh apartment. They are asking for the public's help in catching him.
The suspect has been identified as 37-year-old Yahweh Israel of South Carolina. He is wanted in connection with the death of 66-year-old Bertha Dockery.
Sgt. J.M. Lynch didn't have much to say about what led police to this suspect.
Police say the suspect did know the victim, but did not say how.
