Lee County man arrested in an attempt to buy a 9-year-old child, sheriff's office says
A man from Lee County was arrested Thursday in an attempt to buy a 9-year-old child, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, conducted a search warrant on a home in Sanford.
Joseph Jay Vieu, 50, was arrested for two counts of human trafficking of a child victim and two counts of solicitation of prostitution of a minor.
Vieu was brought before a Lee County Magistrate and issued no bond.
This investigation is still on going.
