NC WANTED contacted Dr. Maurice Godwin about his alleged involvement in the Michelle Young case.

Recently, NC WANTED learned that Jason Young's family hired Dr. Maurice Godwin, a self-described trial strategist who works primarily for defense attorneys.
From one of Godwin's websites: "Dr. Godwin also can assist attorneys in developing trial strategies, which will diminish the testimony of the opposition’s profiling expert."
It is not clear how long Dr. Godwin has been working for the Young family. Some blog reports indicate he may have been working the case since at least summer of 2007, and perhaps as early January '07.
